Trees Of The Planet: A Five Year Art Book Project Goes Live On Kickstarter On October 14th (Non Profit Project)

Honored to spread this project create by a person that has very elevated thoughts about the relationship between humans and trees, Nicolas Weiss.

“I started the Trees of the Planet project 5 years ago by inviting artists from all over the world to go into the woods and become inspired by trees, to send us their contribution that we can do 2 collector edition art books (one coffee table and one salon edition that comes with a book stand).

We want to show the amazing perspective of how trees inspire people and how deep the connection between trees and us is. And it worked.

I am Niklas Weiss from Germany, art book designer for almost 20 years. Together with my team, I develop unique book concepts and realize the designs and production of truly special art books for prominent international publishing houses, the great museums of the world, governments and even royal noble houses.

I feel deeply moved by trees; as bookmaker they provide the precious “prima materia” for my beloved craft, and as humans, our first and last breath. We love being amongst trees, and bathing in their energy and grace.

This is the most special project we were inspired to create: a precious art book about our connection to trees.

“Trees Of The Planet” will be a masterpiece, one of our greatest works. And it will also help planting trees, since all revenues exceeding the cost will be used to fund reforestation projects. In addition to this the production will be climate positive. Targeting the CO2 to prevent the planet from a catastrophy can be easily done by planting huge amounts of trees. They take it in and store it over their lifetime.

I am so thankfull to so many great artists (108), photographers, painters, edgers from everywhere and I am proud to see this amazing project finally going live on Kickstarter October 14th, 8 am New York time (or 1 pm London, 2 pm Paris time, 10 pm Sydney time).
